Travel guarantee with Kammarkollegiet - where we stand
Our application for the statutory travel guarantee is lodged with Kammarkollegiet, the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, and is being processed. It is applied for in the name of Smooth Pirates AB, the organiser of your package.
No booking is confirmed and no payment is taken until the guarantee is registered. That is the rule we work to, and it is the same protection the guarantee exists to give: your money is never in our hands before the cover is in place. Until then you can register interest, hold dates and ask us anything, at no cost and with nothing binding.

What it means for you
- Your money back: if a trip is cancelled because we run into financial difficulty, you get back what you have paid.
- Help if the trip is cut short: if your trip is interrupted, you are compensated for the parts you miss.
- Your journey home: if you are stranded at the destination, the guarantee covers your journey home and any extra accommodation costs.
The travel guarantee is a legal requirement for package travel organisers in Sweden. It exists for one reason: to protect the traveller, so that the money you pay in advance is never at risk and you are never left without a way home. We take that seriously enough to hold off on payments entirely until our guarantee is registered.
